As part of the Broadway at Birdland series on Monday, February 28, Broadway stars took time to salute the late theater critic Michael Kuchwara in "Songs For Mike," for the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, raising over $40,000.

The evening was hosted by Julie Halston, and starred Marc Kudisch, Montego Glover, Sherri Rene Scott, Michael McCormick, Betsy Wolfe, Lindsay Mendez, Mary Testa, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, Ralph Howard, Kevin Chamberlin, Allison Fraser, Nancy Anderson, Noah Racey, Billy Stritch, Klea Blackhurst and very special surprise guest Liza Minnelli. The benefit was produced by Mike Dvorchak and Sue Frost, and directed by Carl Andress, with musical direction by Patrick Vaccariello, musical preparation by Ed Windels, and written by D. Michael Dvorchak and Julie Halston. Accompaniment was provided by Jim Laev (piano), William Sloat (bass) and Eric Poland (drums). The fiscal sponsor of the event was the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
