On Monday, March 26, the Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present jazz vocalist Jane Monheit in "Jane Monheit Swings Cole Porter's Anything Goes." The evening was the creation of arranger/bass player MaryAnn McSweeney, who also brought the wildly popular "Avenue Q Swings" to the Birdland stage several years ago.

In Monday night's event, Robert Creighton, currently in the Broadway production of Anything Goes, was special guest vocalist, and the stellar backup band included Jim Ridl on piano, Ted Nash on saxophone, Alvester Garnett on drums and McSweeney on bass.
