Photo Flash: First Look at MATILDA's Four Leading Ladies in Costume!

MATILDA THE MUSICAL, produced by The Royal Shakespeare Company and The Dodgers, will open on April 11, 2013 at Broadway's Shubert Theatre (225 West 44th Street). The four girls sharing the title role are Sophia Gennusa, Oona Laurence, Bailey Ryon and Milly Shapiro, each of whom will be making her Broadway debut. The principal cast also features Karen Aldridge(Mrs. Phelps), Bertie Carvel* (Miss Trunchbull), Gabriel Ebert (Mr. Wormwood), Lesli Margherita (Mrs. Wormwood), and Lauren Ward (Miss Honey). Olivier Award winner Bertie Carvel and Lauren Ward reprise the roles they played in London.

MATILDA THE MUSICAL is directed by Tony Award winner Matthew Warchus (God of Carnage), who helms this exhilarating and ingenious production with a book by playwrightDennis Kelly and music and lyrics by Australian comedian, musician and composer Tim Minchin.
