Jedlicka Performing Arts Center has launched its 2013-14 Season with Tennessee Williams' classic drama A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE, directed by Christopher Pazdernik, playing now through September 28, 2013 at the Jedlicka Performing Arts Center, 3801 S. Central Ave. in Cicero. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

The cast of A STREETCAR NAME DESIRE includes: Anslee Burns, Ashley Dearborn, Kirstin Franklin, Carl Herzog, Justin Kilduff, Katherine Lamb, Kristin Lutzeier, Michael Nedza, Adam Overberg, Mark Walsh and Brian Zane.

Set in New Orleans during the restless years after World War II, Tennessee Williams' classic drama A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE follows Blanche DuBois, a fragile and neurotic woman desperately searching for a place in the world to call her own. When Blanche arrives unannounced at the doorstep of her sister Stella and short-fused brother-in-law Stanley, the visit triggers an unexpected and explosive series of events over the course of the hot and steamy summer. The play earnEd Williams the 1948 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

The production team for A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE includes: Michael Nedza (scenic and props design, technical director), Lindsay Prerost (costume design), Dante J. Orfei (lighting design), Micheal A. Kott (multimedia/sound design), Ryan Jones (stage manager), Conner Wilson (asst. director) and Melanie Lamoureux (managing director).

Jedlicka Performing Arts Center is located at 3801 S. Central Ave., Cicero. The performance runs now through September 28, 2013.
