ACT Theatre presents its 32nd annual production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, adapted by Gregory A. Falls. This year, A Christmas Carol is directed by R. Hamilton Wright, and features David Pichette and Mark Chamberlin alternating in the role of Scrooge, as well as the ACT debut of Analiese Guettinger in the role of Tiny Tim.

"Dickens' classic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge, the bitter 19th century tightwad who finally finds his Christmas spirit following a night filled with three ghostly visitors from Christmases past, present, and future, comes to brilliant life once again this holiday season – 'Bah! Humbug!' and all. ACT Theatre's production has become a tradition for many Northwest families. Since the play's debut in 1976, more than half a million people have joined Scrooge on his transformational journey," explains press notes.

Performances run through December 24 in the Allen Theatre, at ACT Theatre in downtown Seattle. An ASL performance for the hearing impaired is on Thursday, December 13 at 6PM and an audio described performance for the blind and visually impaired community is on Sunday, December 16 at 1PM.
