Photo Coverage: Special Actors' Fund Performance of Jersey Boys

On Sunday, January 22nd a special performance of Jersey Boys was held to benefit the Actors' Fund of America and BroadwayWorld was there to cover the red carpet.

Jersey Boys, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, currently runs at the August Wilson Theatre, on 245 West 52nd Street. The Actors' Fund will hold performances of Sweeney Todd on January 29th at 7pm, and of The Odd Couple on Sunday March 19th.

For over 120 years, The Actors' Fund of America is the national nonprofit organization that provides for the social welfare of all entertainment professionals. Professionals in film, television, radio, theatre, dance and music all turn to The Actors' Fund in times of need. Ben Strothmann Ben Strothmann has been a portrait and theatrical photographer since 1995. Since building his first darkroom in his hometown of Milwaukee WI, his portrait studio now looks out over Manhattan where he shoots headshots and production photos. Born to a famous cheesecake lady (Suzy Strothmann of Suzy's Cream Cheesecakes), Ben is also an actor and pianist. Currently he lives in Astoria and studies guitar and Icelandic. Ben is also a volunteer for The Heart Gallery ( and helps NYC foster children find permanent, loving families.
