Artistic Director Rex Reed hosted last night, June 2, "IT'S MAGIC, Nine Decades of Songs from Warner Bros.", presented by 92nd Street Y's Lyrics & Lyricists series and starring Christine Andreas, Polly Bergen, Jason Graae, Sue Raney and Tom Wopat. Rex Reed celebrates the studio that churned out hits for decades, like 42nd Street, Yankee Doodle Dandy, A Star is Born and My Fair Lady. Emmy Award winner Polly Bergen and Tony Award nominee Tom Wopat join a stellar cast of Broadway and cabaret stars singing hits like "42nd Street" and "Give My Regards to Broadway."

Stephen Sorokoff Stephen is also the cabaret/ music and co-theatre editor of the Times Square Chronicles. He studied at the Manhattan School of Music. Besides being a pianist, Stephen’s business career was in the Fashion Industry. He was CEO of a textile manufacturing facility and President of an international textile machinery company. Stephen was on the Board of Directors of the “First All Children’s Theatre” which brought the Stephen Schwartz musical The Trip and Captain Louie to the Kennedy Center in Wash DC. His wife Eda, an interior space designer and classical pianist was on the Board of Barrington Stage Company and is still active at BSC. Stephen’s photographs, videos and articles appear on Broadwayworld.com, T2Conline.com and The New York Observer.
