Earlier this week, Broadway Actor Jason Danieley revealed details of his wife and fellow performer Marin Mazzie's battle with cancer. Last night was all about celebrating though as he took the stage for his Feinstein's/54 Below solo debut. Opening night well-wishers, included Danieley's wife, Tony Award nominee Marin Mazzie (Kiss Me, Kate, Ragtime); Tony Award winner Chita Rivera (The Visit, Kiss of the Spider Woman, The Rink); and Tony Award winning lyricist Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Once on This Island).

Show notes describe the evening as "Broadway singing actor and recording artist Jason Danieley (The Visit, Curtains, Next to Normal) invites you to hear what's in his heart. Longing for the love of your life, finding your forever friend, a rekindling of the flame that you thought had dwindled...romance is a big part of our lives! And embracing the need for that special someone can make you want to sing about it. Now, in a brand new show, Jason sings of love, incorporating music of all genres. Accompanied by an incredible jazz trio led by music director Tedd Firth, Jason embraces the Romantic Notions that have haunted and consumed him his whole life. He is Irish after all!"

Jason plays Feinstein's/ 54 Below for 3 more performances: October 3-5 at 7pm. For more information visit: http://54below.com/artist/jason-danieley/
