On Thursday, July 20th, a portrait of Jersey Boys stars John Lloyd Young, Christian Hoff, Daniel Reichard and J. Robert Spencer by celebrated artist Dan May was unveiled at Tony's DiNapoli Times Square. Radio personality Valerie Smaldone hosted the event.

May has previously painted portraits of such luminaries as Alec Baldwin, Alan Cumming, Harry Connick Jr. and Cyndi Lauper for the Tony's wall.

Jersey Boys, which won the 2006 Tony Award for Best Musical, is written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe, and is directed by two-time Tony Award-winner Des McAnuff. The show is currently playing at Broadway's August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52nd Street, between Broadway and 8th Avenue). The show "is the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons: Frankie Valli (Tony-winner Lloyd Young), Bob Gaudio (Reichard), Tommy DeVito (Tony-winner Hoff), and Nick Massi (Spencer). This is the story of how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide - all before they were thirty," state press notes.
