Last night, on June 14, The Irish Repertory Theatre (Charlotte Moore, Artistic Director; Ciaran O'Reilly, Producing Director) presented a rare concert performance of Alan J. Lerner and Frederick Loewe's "Brigadoon" on Broadway for its 2010 Annual Benefit Gala.

Directed by Charlotte Moore and choreography by Barry McNabb this one night only event at The Shubert Theatre was followed by a gala benefit reception and dinner at Sardis.

The evening was co-hosted by Matthew Broderick (The Producers) and Jonathan Cake (Restoration). Performers includeLen Cariou (Sweeney Todd, A Little Night Music); Christine Ebersole (Grey Gardens); Jason Danieley (South Pacific/PBS, Curtains); Melissa Errico (Amour, White Christmas); Ciaran Sheehan (The Phantom of the Opera);A.J. Shively (La Cage); Don Stephenson (The Producers); Jim Brochu (Zero Hour), and a chorus of more than fifty singers with a twenty-piece orchestra,conducted by Mark Hartman (Sondheim on Sondheim). And guests
set to attend include Swoosie Kurtz, Marian Seldes and others.
