Cabaret Cares 5 An evening with the cast of In the Heights

Wednesday January 5th, 2011 Doreen Montalvo hosted an evening with the cast of In the Heights at the Laurie Beechman theatre. It was a truly magical evening filled with love, music, and a celebration of a wonderful show all for a good cause, "Help Is On the Way today"

There were performances by, Doreen Montalvo, Javier Munoz, Afra Hines, Alejandra Reyes, Alicia Taylor Tomasko, Antuan Ramoine, Ruben Flores, Nancy Ticotin, Noemi Taylor-Corbett, Shaun Taylor-Corbett, Arielle Jacobs, Noah Rivera, Willis White, Marcus Paul James, Bianca Marroquin, Blanca Camacho, Tony Chiroldes, Michael Balderamma with surprise guests Corbin Bleu and Jordin Sparks. Musical directed by Zach Dietz, and Doug Hinrichs on percussion.

Stephen Sorokoff Stephen is also the cabaret/ music and co-theatre editor of the Times Square Chronicles. He studied at the Manhattan School of Music. Besides being a pianist, Stephen’s business career was in the Fashion Industry. He was CEO of a textile manufacturing facility and President of an international textile machinery company. Stephen was on the Board of Directors of the “First All Children’s Theatre” which brought the Stephen Schwartz musical The Trip and Captain Louie to the Kennedy Center in Wash DC. His wife Eda, an interior space designer and classical pianist was on the Board of Barrington Stage Company and is still active at BSC. Stephen’s photographs, videos and articles appear on Broadwayworld.com, T2Conline.com and The New York Observer.
