Photo Coverage: Broadway Celebrates ROCK OF AGES Film in Times Square

Last night, June 11, The Broadway cast of Rock Of Ages celebrated the upcoming Rock Of Ages film at the Regal E-Walk Stadium Theaters in Times Square. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the screening and pre-show red carpet and brings you complete photo coverage below!

The film will open in theaters on June 15, 2012 and stars Tom Cruise as Stacee Jaxx, along with Diego Boneta as "Drew," Julianne Hough as "Sherrie," Russell Brand as "Lonny," Alec Baldwin as "Dennis," Mary J. Blige as "Justice," Brian Cranston as the Mayor, Malin Ackerman as "Constance Sack," Paul Giamatti as "Paul Gill," and Catherine Zeta-Jones as the "Mayor's Wife."

ROCK OF AGES tells the story of small town girl Sherrie and city boy Drew, who meet on the Sunset Strip while pursuing their Hollywood dreams. Their rock ‘n' roll romance is told through the heart-pounding hits of Def Leppard, Joan Jett, Journey, Foreigner, Bon Jovi, Night Ranger, REO Speedwagon, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, Poison, Whitesnake, and more. The film's stars Tom Cruise, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Alec Baldwin, Russell Brand, and Malin Akerman did their own singing for the movie.

The ROCK OF AGES The Musical opened on Broadway on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 and played its final performance at The Brooks Atkinson Theatre on Sunday, January 9, 2011, before re-opening at The Helen Hayes Theatre on March 24, 2011.
