Photo Coverage: ALAN CUMMING SINGS SAPPY SONGS at Cafe Carlyle

Having garnered acclaim for his performances on stage and screen, Alan Cumming made his Café Carlyle debut this week for a two-week engagement, June 2-13 and Broadwayworld was of course on the scene to snap some pics. Check them out below!

In ALAN CUMMING SINGS SAPPY SONGS, the performer sings songs full of emotion and authenticity by artists as diverse as Billy Joel, Stephen Sondheim, Bob Dylan, Jerry Herman and Miley Cyrus, to name a few. They will be interspersed with stories full of Cumming's signature idiosyncratic charm, the likes of which prompted Time Magazine to name him one of the most fun people in show business and The New York Times to anoint him as a "bawdy countercultural sprite." At The Carlyle, Alan Cumming will be joined on stage by his long-time musical director Lance Horne on piano, Eleanor Norton on cello and Chris Jego on drums.
