Phoenix Theatre Ensemble, a resident acting ensemble, now in its 9th season, is presenting "Aesop's Fables" as part of the company's ongoing Phoenix-for-the-Family program on 3 consecutive Saturdays: March 9, March 16, and March 23 at 12:00 noon and 2:00 PM at The Wild Project (195 East 3rd Street, NY, NY).

Aesop's Fables written by Kathy Ferman-Menino is set within an acting ensemble that is holding auditions for their next show. Original music has been composed by Ellen Mandel and Jeremy Williams will be directing. The show is appropriate for ages 4 and up.

"Aesop's Acting Ensemble" is holding open auditions, and producers Mr. Tortoise and
Ms. Hare are at their wits' ends! Will they ever be able to cast their show? Can they find an actor with the right talent and disposition, or will they be left with sour grapes?
