Perabo And Walker To Join Original Dreamgirl Devine For UNSPEAKABLE Reading 6/25

Piper Perabo (reasons to be pretty) and Pernell Walker (Dee Rees's upcoming feature film "Pariah") will join original "Dreamgirl" Loretta Devine in an invitation only reading of Unspeakable on June 25th.

Peoria Stroker and OBC DreamTheatre in association with Mike Muse and Minna Mae Productions will present the reading at the Duke on 42nd Street. Show time is 7 PM.

The film and television star will be joined onstage by Paris Campbell, Michelle Wilson and James Murray Jackson, Jr. Additional cast to be announced shortly. Rod Gailes OBC directs.

According to Unspeakable press notes. "Sex, drugs and comedy. Unspeakable, is an unflinching ride through the emotional landscape of iconic comedic legend, Richard Pryor. Growing up in a Peoria brothel, where his mother toiled as a prostitute that his grandmother owned and operated, Richard faced situations that forever shaped and scarred his sensitive soul. The Reading of Unspeakable will be held at Studio 3A in the New 42nd Street Studios.
