Mystery Mike Hennessey, aka: MIRACLE Mike is a 24 year AIDS "VICTOR" who moved to Los Angeles from Boston in 1993 when he was given 9 years to live in 1990. His diagnosis lead him to do Stand Up on the East Coast for healings sake and it worked. His T-cells shot through the roof after spending 9 months performing every week all of Boston where, because of his clean family humor he opened for such greats at John Pinot and Steven Wright. He wore a pair of ray bans and went by the name of SHADES. He has been an AIDS advocate even before his diagnosis and has been a huge supporter of the incredible LIFE GROUP LA, and fell in love with it's founder, Sunnie Rose Berger the moment they met back in 2006. He has been blessed and humbled to Host the Awards Ceremony every year since for the powerful fundraiser, SADDLE UP LA along side Sunnie. He is the owner of Mysteries By Mike www.mysteriesbymike.com (thus the name) and he has performed and produced over10,000 mystery shows since 1995 for all ages. He is thrilled to be here tonight to support two of his favorite people...er, THREE...Sunnie, Pepper and Sister Jean! The Life Group LA is a coalition of people dedicated to the education, empowerment and emotional support of persons both infected and affected by HIV/AIDS so that they may make informed choices and decisions regarding their healthcare and personal well being.

Founded in 2005 The Life Group LA provides, free of charge, much needed information and emotional support through medical forums, emotional support groups and the POZ Life Weekend Seminar. All services are offered in a non-judgmental and safe environment with compassion and understanding.

Safety, respect and confidentiality are the cornerstones of our philosophy. We accomplish this by providing trained support group facilitators for our emotional support groups and our POZ Life Weekend Seminar. These facilitators have been trained in the art of active listening and conduct themselves with empathy and compassion.

In a time when the HIV epidemic has surpassed its 30th year, and new HIV infections continue to occur on a daily basis, now more than ever we must strengthen the struggle against HIV/AIDS.
