The Peoples Improv Theater is proud to announce the season finale of one of our banner shows, We Love TV. Created, written, and directed by co-executive producers Kaitlin Fontana (CTV's The Party, The Studio System, Cagey, Vulture.com) and Luke Ward (Barcelona '92, &Robin), We Love TV dares to do the impossible: rewrite the history of our favorite TV shows. Each episode features newly written episodes of classic series, performed live onstage for the first time. It's a fast, funny, and DIY celebration of your favorite classic television, written by a couple of delightfully hubristic aspiring NYC TV writers who love TV as much as you do. Featuring a panel of experts, interviews with the featured show's stars and producers, and other nerdly pursuits, We Love TV has fast become one of the People's Improv Theater's most acclaimed and beloved shows. In their season finale on Thursday, November 20 at 7:30pm, We Love TV takes on NYC's signature comedy show within a comedy show, 30 Rock.

Since We Love TV started its first season run back in May, Ward and Fontana have brought six different classic TV shows to the stage: Cheers, Seinfeld, The Cosby Show, Freaks and Geeks, Will and Grace, and The Twilight Zone. Every episode, a cast of the best sketch, improv, theater, and stand up comedy actors from the PIT, the UCB and the Magnet-over 50 performers this season alone- take on the intimidating task of portraying a beloved character from a classic TV show, and performing a brand new, 22-minute staged sitcom episode with less than three weeks rehearsal. Each episode of We Love TV is written, directed, produced and hosted by Luke Ward and Kaitlin Fontana (who, it should be noted, will occasionally play characters like Jerry Seinfeld and Cheers' Diane Chambers, but only because they are perfect for these parts).

Past expert panelists have included Josh Gondelman (Seinfeld Today on Twitter, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver), Jennifer Keishin Armstrong (Entertainment Weekly, Vulture, NY Times), and this episode promises an impossible to confirm ** VERY SPECIAL GUEST PANELIST ** from 30 Rock. We Love TV asks the question: What if you could see just one more episode of your favorite classic TV show? (Hint: The answer is, You Can). I love TV; you love TV; We Love TV!

Luke Ward and Kaitlin Fontana are, collectively, an award winning writer, a Canadian, a father, and the co-executive producers of We Love TV, every third Thursday of the month at the People's Improv Theater. Together and separately they write spec and original television episodes, short films, and features, and both are improvisers at the PIT. Catch Luke Mondays at 8 with &Robin, and Kaitlin Wednesdays at 8 with The Studio System. Twitter: @kaitlinfontana | @sirlukeward
