Patterson, Spencer, Blazer, Etc. Set for 'Lady' Reading

Meredith Patterson (White Christmas, 42nd Street) will star in the title role of the upcoming reading and presentations of the new musical Lady on a Carousel, which press notes describe as being "currently in development for Broadway."

The cast also includes Robb Sapp (Wicked), Judy Blazer (LoveMusik) and J. Robert Spencer (Jersey Boys).

Lady on a Carousel is produced by Chase Mishkin and Marty Bell, with book and lyrics by Charles Leipart and music by William Goldstein. The readings will be directed by Susan Schulman (Little Women), with music direction by David Loud (Curtains).

Patterson recently performed and recorded the role of "Kit Baker"on the new 2007 Encore's Cast Album of Irving Berlin's Face the Music on DRG Records. She  recently filmed the role of Catherine 'Cat' Curtis in the feature film My Father's Will on location in New York City and will be seen in upcoming Sidney Lumet feature film Before The Devil Knows You're Dead.
