Producer Sean Hudock announced today full casting for The Wild Root Company's staged first look workshops of Jonathan Kravetz's new American play THE BEAST IN MY PANTS, which will presented in partnership with with Markus Potter and NewYorkRep (2015 Outer Critics Circle Nominee for STALKING THE BOGEYMAN).

Presentations will take place at The Alchemical Theatre Lab at 104 West 14th Street on Thursday October 29 at 3 pm and 7 pm, and Friday October 30 at 3 pm.

Based on true events, Kravetz's "sexy, erudite farce" (CriticalRant.com) follows the romantic travails of six outrageous characters on a quest to tame the irresistible beast that rules us all.

The cast of THE BEAST IN MY PANTS will feature Patrick Kerr (Broadway's YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU, "Frasier"), Michael Goldsmith (TALES OF THE RED VIENNA at Manhattan Theatre Club), Kathy Searle ("Baby Mama," "LI Divas") Suki Lopez ("Sesame Street") and Jay Leibowitz (The Acting Company). Marisa Redanty (Broadway's 45 SECONDS FROM BROADWAY, "The Sopranos") will replace the previously announced Catherine Curtin.

The actors are appearing courtesy of Actors' Equity Association.

Director Jessi D. Hill (Associate Artistic Director, terraNOVA Collective), who helmed Wild Root's successful 2014 readings of THE BEAST IN MY PANTS, will direct the workshop.
