PUBLIC RECORDS, PRIVATE SHAME is a monthly comedy show in New York City! All the improv and sketches are inspired by actual public documents, such as: FCC complaints about Big Bang Theory being too violent, FBI profiles of sports stars, and immigration rejections.

The show is making its UCB Theater debut, March 27, 9:30pm. The legendary comedy theater was founded by Amy Poehler and helped launch the careers of Kate McKinnon, Bobby Moynihan, and Rob Riggle.

All the proceeds from this show will benefit the The New York Press Club Foundation, which provides scholarship assistance for local students pursuing a career in journalism.

The cast for this special show features of mix of comedians and musicians, including: Bennett Sullivan (Steve Martin's Bright Star), Dan Chamberlain (Above Average), Eric Cunningham (UCB's Night Late), and Stacey Hayashi (Washington Improv Theater).

Written and Directed by Curtis Raye (FOIA Love), who spent eight years in Washington DC and one year in rural Iowa working for the Hillary campaign observing the inherent comedy in public records. School board meetings, court testimony, and even White House menus are treasure troves of human folly.

PUBLIC RECORDS, PRIVATE SHAME will be March 27, 2017 at 9:30 PM at UCB East Village, located at 153 East 3rd St New York, NY 10009.
