Outcast Theatre Company and The Barrow Mansion Development Corporation present a
one-night-only holiday performance of Gian Carlo Menotti's classic operetta, AMAHL AND THE NIGHT VISITORS. The performance will take place tonight, December 14th, 8 pm at The Barrow Mansion Theatre.

AMAHL AND THE NIGHT VISITORS will star Michelle Repella as Mother; Emma Lewis as Amahl; Christopher Michael Christiana as Kaspar; Ben Houghton as Melchior; Aaron Reeder as Balthazar; Joshua M. Feder as Page; Brian Dann, Michela Imbesi, Madison James, Jayson Kerr, Katie Mueller, Tom Protulipac, Rod Singleton, Katelyn Spinosa as Shepherds.

The creative staff includes Michelle Maccarone, Director; John Bronston, Musical Director; Alex Mosko, Choreographer.

Outcast Theatre Company (Co-Producer) is a new Jersey City-based non-profit theatre company, devoted to the presentation and exploration of live performance to encourage dialogue on social topics, the human condition and the nature of connection.

The Barrow Mansion Development Corporation (Co-Producer) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the restoration and care of Jersey City's historic Barrow Mansion, built in 1837. Its mission is to preserve the mansion and to promote its use as a center for community service. The mansion is a designated landmark on both the National and State Registers of Historic Places.

Charming audiences since its NBC television premiere in 1951, AMAHL AND THE NIGHT VISITORS is the classic one-act opera by Gian Carlo Menotti centering on the visit of three wealthy and wise kings to an impoverished young boy and his mother. Miracles and second chances unfold in this inventive, heartwarming story coupled with the soaring melodies of Menotti's score. This beautifully sung show is appropriate for all ages.

A sweet and savory tasting feast of treats, inspired by The Feast of the Three Kings, from Jersey City-area restaurants will follow the performance, with live music and family arts & crafts activities.

Proceeds from this performance will benefit Outcast Theatre Company's inaugural 2013-14 season.

The performance will take place tonight, December 14th at 8 pm with a running time of 50 minutes at The Barrow Mansion Theatre located on 83 Wayne Street, Jersey City, NJ 07302. One block from the Grove Street PATH train.
