Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF invites the public to a free Open House on Saturday, August 23 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Theater staff will lead guests on a tour of the building, providing them with behind the scenes access, insider info, and fun facts about Orlando Shakes. Visitors will also enjoy a sneak peek rehearsal of this fall's highly anticipated production, LES MISERABLES, and may enter to win tickets and prizes from Orlando Shakes and other local arts organizations. Families are encouraged to participate in fun crafts and photo opportunities with costumed characters free of charge.

"Last season's Open House was extremely successful in providing our existing patrons with a look 'behind the curtain,' while offering new patrons the opportunity to learn more about us," said Managing Director PJ Albert. "We hope that this year's event brings in even more new faces."

To RSVP to Orlando Shakes' Free Open House visit www.orlandoshakes.org/openhouse. Further information is available by calling (407) 447-1700 ext. 1 or in person at the Box Office located inside the John and Rita Lowndes Shakespeare Center (812 East Rollins Street).

Other 26th Season special events include the Annual Gala on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at 5 p.m. and the 7th Annual Mock Trial which uses classic plays to explore contemporary legal thought.
