Schubert Club and the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts will present From the Top, the preeminent showcase for young musicians heard weekly on Classical MPR, on Sunday, Nov. 13, at the Ordway Concert Hall.

This live recording of the popular NPR show will shine the spotlight on young musicians in the Twin Cities and beyond with an all-Minnesota cast of performers, including the Concertmaster of the Minnesota Youth Symphonies, a brother-sister piano duo from Blaine and the second-prize winner of the Cooper International Piano Competition.

This recording of the popular NPR program, hosted by acclaimed pianist Christopher O'Riley, will feature amazing performances and captivating personal stories of extraordinary young musicians from Minnesota.

The cast includes:

· 18-year-old violinist Emma Richman from Minneapolis

· The Taggart Duo, including brother and sister pianists, 13-year-old Emma and 9-year-old Jacob Taggart from Blaine

· Second-prize winner of the Cooper International Piano Competition, 17-year-old pianist Evren Ozel from Minneapolis who is currently studying at Walnut Hill Arts Academy in Natick, Mass.

· Also featured will be the Stillwater Area High School Choir.
