Opera Superstar Deborah Humble Gives Concert in Adelaide

Internationally acclaimed mezzo-soprano, Deborah Humble presents the Wagner Wesendonck Lieder and the Brahms Zigeunerlieder accompanied by Sharolyn Kimmorley AM and Imants Larsens.

Deborah Humble international opera star gives one only Australian recital in Adelaide on 11 February. This in between performing and recording in Hong Kong and performing in France.

And although she's globetrotting Diva she has a couple of Adelaide connections; this was where she grew up and her father lives in Adelaide.

Deborah studied at the Elder Conservatorium in Adelaide, she took a masters degree at the University of Melbourne and went through the opera choruses before becoming a principal artist with Opera Australia. She moved to Europe and has now lived for several years in each of Hamburg, London, Paris and Bologna, and now performs around the world.

The Adelaide recital features Wagner's Wesendonck Lieder and the Brahms Zigeunerlieder, and Humble will be joined on stage by Imants Larsens violist with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and Sharolyn Kimmorely vocal coach and pianist.
