Hosted by Magalie Laguerre-Wilkinson reporting from the Holiday Train Show at The New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx, the December edition of CUNY TV's ARTS IN THE CITY debuts Friday, December 13, celebrating family and holiday events around the city.
ARTS IN THE CITY is broadcast and cablecast on Friday at 10am, 3pm and 8:30pm; repeated Sunday 12/15 at 12 noon on CUNY TV; and beginning Friday 12/13 is available for viewing
24/7 on www.cuny.tv. CUNY TV is broadcast in the tri-state area on digital Ch. 25.3, and cablecast in the five boroughs of New York City on Ch. 75 (Time Warner and Optimum), Ch. 77 (RCN) and Ch. 30 (Verizon FiOS).
Included in the December program are:
• The Holiday Train Show, an extraordinary display of miniature New York landmarks threaded with tracks and moving trains, celebrating its 22nd year at The New York Botanical Garden. Interviewed is Karen Daubmann, Director of Exhibitions, who provides an insider's viewer of the popular exhibit.
• Holiday Windows at New York's department stores are covered by Tinabeth Pin?a, including Macy's, Lord & Taylor, Henri Bendel, Tiffany,
