ONE Healing Arts COMPANY and Demos Bizar Entertainment present SPRING ALIVE! a world premiere theatrical experience starring Broadway performer and recording artist Spring Groove (Bway: Grease, Saturday Night Fever). Musical Director Alex Navarro leads a band, including musicians Greg Burrows, David Finch, Jordan Jancz, and Deepak Ramapriyan with singers Sherez Aletaha and Saum Eskandani. The dancers are Akil David, Jennifer Knox, Catherine Poppell and Richard Riaz Yoder. Performances for SPRING ALIVE! will be held through March 25, 2012 on Fridays & Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 7pm at Dixon Place, 161 Chrystie Street (between Delancey and Rivington) in Manhattan's Lower East Side.
SPRING ALIVE! is a musical event based on Broadway performer ("Grease," "Saturday Night Live") and recording artist Spring Groove's courageous journey to seek the truth and walk her authentic path. Spring's original music combines the Folk, Pop, Ecstatic and Meditative Mantra music genres into an entertaining evening of soul-searching and storytelling as this inspiring troubadour travels the globe in search of everything from glowsticks to gurus.

Spring Groove is a former Broadway performer and an award-winning singer song writer honored by Billboard and The LA Music Awards for Best Female Singer. With 7 critically-acclaimed CDs, Spring's music ranges from Folk and Pop to Ecstatic and Meditative Mantra. As a street musician, Spring flourishes. She has independently sold over 15,000 CD's and has opened hearts around the world headlining at festivals throughout Italy, Germany and other European cities. Spring is also a bhakti yogi who tours internationally to help awaken consciousness and create community through the gift of music. Spring produced & performed the sold out SHE ROCKS BROADWAY AT Studio 54, raising over $100K for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and the New York Fashion Cares and the benefit LA concert, SPRING FEVER. Spring's music has been featured in several independent award winning films and has been played on both MTV and E! Television. LA Yoga Magazine says "…her light is infectious." Spring's voice has been recorded with bhakti yogis such as Has Christian of Rasa, David Newman, Petros Haffenrichter, The Temple Bhajan Band and David Stringer with whom she tours regularly all over the world. Nick Demos (director/choreographer) is the Artistic Director of ONE Healing Arts COMPANY. From 2000-2008 he served as the Artistic Director for Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma. With his producing partner, staff and board of directors he transitioned Lyric from a university campus to two world class facilities, oversaw a successful capital campaign, expanded programming to include a children's academy, created new works, concert programs and an entire Second Stage series. He directed over thirty productions at Lyric, most notably Kelli O'Hara in the state centennial production of Oklahoma!. New York directing credits include the Broadway Cares Easter Bonnet Competition, Rainbow Around the Sun at NYMF, The Pool at Theater for the New City and Kids in America at the Triad. Other regional credits: The Drowsy Chaperone (B. Iden Payne and Austin Critics' Awards for Best Direction) at the Zach Scott Theater and ,The Who's Tommy, Godspell and Urinetown at Stage One Also a producer, Nick's company, Demos Bizar Entertainment produced Memphis on Broadway (Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Best Musical), Make Me a Song in London and Vanities (2nd Stage), Inventing Avi (Abingdon), and Make Make Me a Song (Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle nominations) Off –Broadway.
