The New 42nd Street and The New Victory Theater Present Once and For All We're Gonna Tell You Who We Are So Shut Up and Listen. Winner of the Herald Angels, Total Theatre and Fringe First Awards at the 2008 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Once and For All...will be presented by The New Victory as part of the 2010 Under The Radar Festival and will run at The Duke on 42nd Street from January 8 through January 17, 2010.

Once and For All... is a ferociously honest and resonant play about adolescence as seen through the eyes of 13 teenagers.  In keeping with their collaborative approach, creators Ontroerend Goed and KOPERGIETERY (Belgium) and Richard Jordan Productions (UK) developed the play with input from the teen performers. The result is an affecting collage of text and physical theater set to a soundtrack of "defiance" rock, punk and classical music that underscores the theme of teen rebellion.

"I react against the meekness, the poetry, the melancholy that is connected with ‘the adolescent,'" said Once and For All...director, Alexander Devriendt. "This age has so much roughness. I seldom see people pointing that out. It's in this period that you take the freedom to be rude, fully conscious that you will be forgiven for that for a while."

Text in Once and For All... is by Joeri Smet, Alexander Devriendt and the actors. Dramaturgy is by Mieke Versyp, scene and costume design is by Sophie De Somere, sound design is by Stijn De Gezelle, light design is by Jeroen Doise, and technique is by Geert Willems.

The cast includes Aaron De Keyzer, Barbara Lefebure, Charlotte De Bruyne, Christophe De Poorter, Dina Dooreman, Edith De Bruyne, Edouard Devriendt, Elies Van Renterghem, Febe De Geest, Helena Gheeraert, Ian Ghysels, Koba Ryckewaert, Fée Roels, Zeno Fieremans and Nathalie Verbeke.

The performance schedule is Friday 1/8 7:30pm; Saturday 1/9 2pm, 7:30pm; Sunday 1/10 3pm; Thursday 1/14 7:30 pm; Friday 1/15 7:30pm; Saturday 1/16 2 pm, 7:30pm; and Sunday 1/17 3pm.

Tickets for members cost $17.50 and $25 for non-members. Those who purchase tickets to this show and at least two other New Victory productions during the 2008-2009 season become a New Victory Member and save 30% on tickets to all New Victory shows for the entire season. To purchase tickets visit NewVictory.org, call 646-223-3010, or visit The New Victory Theater Box Office

KOPERGIETERY is a performing arts center in Ghent, Belgium, with a focus on theater, dance and music.
