ONCE, the Tony and Grammy Award winning Best New Musical, has announced "ONCE WEEK" Tuesday, August 20; Wednesday, August 21; Thursday, August 22 and Friday, August 23.

For four performances beginning Tuesday, August 20, ONCE will have a lottery to distribute 20 free tickets per performance. Fans are invited to come to the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45th Street) for free events, prizes and a chance to win FREE tickets to the show.

Details to win free tickets:
Names will be collected beginning 2 ½ hrs before the start of each of the following performances:
Tuesday, August 20 at 7pm
Wednesday, August 21 at 8pm
Thursday, August 22 at 8pm
Friday, August 23 at 8pm

- Winners names will be drawn 2 hours before the show

- Both at the theater and online fan can use #OnceWeek to join the festivities; exclusive online contests will take place every day on Facebook and Twitter.

- Enter the lottery everyday for a chance to win a grand prize

Additional prizes to be given away will be announced shortly, and more events throughout the week including a free cast performance on Thursday, August 23 at 5:30pm in front of the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre.

ONCE is based on the 2007 Academy Award-winning film and plays on Broadway at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45th Street). The production opened to rave reviews on Sunday, March 18, 2012.

ONCE won eight Tony Awards including Best Musical. The production was also named Best Musical by the New York Drama Critics Circle, Drama Desk, Drama League, Outer Critic Circle and Lucille Lortel Awards.

ONCE is the winner of the 2013 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album.

ONCE features a book by award-winning Irish playwright & screenwriter, Enda Walsh (Penelope, Hunger, The New Electric Ballroom), the Academy Award-winning music and lyrics of Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová, direction by the acclaimed John Tiffany (Black Watch), movement by Steven Hoggett (Black Watch, American Idiot) and music supervision and orchestrations by Martin Lowe (Mamma Mia!).

The cast of ONCE features Arthur Darvill as 'Guy' and Joanna Christie as 'Girl.' Also in the company are Adam Wesley Brown, Laurel Griggs, David PatRick Kelly, Jillian Lebling, Katrina Lenk, Anne L. Nathan, Lucas Papaelias, Andy Taylor, Carlos Valdes, Erikka Walsh, Paul Whitty, and J. Michael Zygo.

ONCE is now playing in London's West End at The Phoenix Theatre where it opened April 9 after premiering to critical acclaim in Dublin in February 2013.ONCE will begin a US national tour launched by The Road Company in the summer of 2013.
