The Official Agatha Christie Theatre Company is delighted to announce that Nichola McAuliffe is to join the highly successful UK tour of MURDER ON THE NILE as 'Miss ffiliot-ffoulkes', the role played until recently by Kate O'Mara, who has had to withdraw from the production due to ill health. Nichola will play the role in Coventry, Sheffield, Aberdeen, Dublin and Poole.

Nichola McAuliffe is one of Britain's best-loved actresses and has had a long and varied career on stage and on screen. Her television credits include Sheila Sabatini in seven series of ITV's Surgical Spirit, Anita in Coronation Street, and Vivian Rook in Dr. Who. Recent theatre credits include the UK tour of Alan Bennett's The Lady in the Van, Hay Fever at the Rose Kingston, The Mikado at the Gielgud Theatre and Plague over England at the Finborough. She enjoyed great success with her own play A British Subject, at the Edinburgh Fringe, at London's Arts Theatre and off Broadway.

MURDER ON THE NILE also continues to star ROBERT DUNCAN, prolific stage actor and star of the television hit Drop the Dead Donkey, as 'Canon Pennefather', SUSIE AMY (71 Degrees North and Footballers' Wives), as 'Kay Mostyn', BEN NEALON, fondly remembered as 'Capt Jeremy Forsythe' from the long running ITV drama Soldier Soldier, as 'Simon Mostyn', and 60's pop idol, Mark Wynter as 'Dr Bessner'.
