New York Philharmonic's Open Rehearsal Cancelled, 3/15

The New York Philharmonic's Open Rehearsal scheduled to take place Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at 9:45 a.m. is cancelled due to a change in the rehearsal schedule, which was impacted by the winter storm. The concert taking place that evening at 7:30 p.m. at David Geffen Hall will go on as scheduled. Refunds for the Open Rehearsal will be issued to the original method of payment within seven to ten business days. The concert will include John Adams's The Chairman Dances (Foxtrot for Orchestra), the New York Premiere-New York Philharmonic Co-Commission of Esa-Pekka Salonen's Cello Concerto, and Berlioz's Symphonie fantastique. Additional performances take place on Thursday, March 16 at 7:30 p.m., Friday, March 17 at 8:00 p.m., and Saturday, March 18 at 8:00 p.m. at David Geffen Hall.

The New York Philharmonic's next Open Rehearsal will take place Thursday, April 20, 2017, at 9:45 a.m., featuring Courtney Lewis conducting the New York Philharmonic in Timo Andres's Piano Concerto No. 3, The Blind Banister, and Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 2, both with Jonathan Biss as soloist; selections from Berlioz's Romeo and Juliet; and Elgar's In the South (Alassio).
