New 'St. Jimmy' BROADWAY IDIOT Clip, With Armstrong & MoreA new clip from the hard rocking documentary all about bringing Green Day's AMERICAN IDIOT from album to stage, BROADWAY IDIOT, is now available to view, showcasing the raucous sights and sounds of memorable musical spotlight performance piece "St. Jimmy".

"There is a parallel between me, you know, going to New York for the show and what happened in AMERICAN IDIOT," Green Day front-man and occasional AMERICAN IDIOT star Billie Joe Armstrong relates in the new clip.

"But, this time, it's almost like a second chance to do it the right way," Armstrong concludes.

The official synopsis of BROADWAY IDIOT is as follows: "BROADWAY IDIOT follows Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong from a punk rock concert at Madison Square Garden to the opening of his musical American Idiot on Broadway - only ten blocks away, but worlds apart. From behind the curtain share in the crazy journey of turning the mega-hit album into a punk rock musical - and ultimately see how the world of theater transformed Billie Joe."

AMERICAN IDIOT opened on Broadway in 2010 and closed after 421 performances. The production was directed by Michael Mayer and the original Broadway cast included John Gallagher Jr., Matt Caplan, Stark Sands, Michael Esper, Rebecca Naomi Jones, Mary Faber, Christina Sajous and Tony Vincent. Two US tours and a UK tour have followed.

BROADWAY IDIOT is now available to view in select cities and available to download on demand. More information is available at the official site here.
