New Short Story Collection is Released

Author and associate professor P.T. Debonair presents his thoughts and reflections on life through his debut collection of short stories, "Del cielo llovieron colores" (published by AuthorHouse), which translates to "Colors Rained From the Sky."

Written in Spanish, "Del cielo llovieron colores" is a collection of 33 short stories that illustrate the emotional complexities of the human psyche. Debonair's characters tread lightly through life, trying not to step on anyone's toes, and find themselves in unexpected landscapes. Their journeys reveal their innermost desires, to break free of their black and white worlds and live in color.

"Life is not quite what it seems," Debonair reminds his readers. "Times flies inexorably, and opportunities won't always be there for us to grasp. Solitude and nostalgia are not necessarily bad feelings and it takes all sorts of people to make the world."

About the Author
P.T. Debonair was born in the south of Spain but has spent much of his life in various parts of Catalonia. He holds a Ph.D. in English and is an associate professor at Universitat Rovira i Virgili. He has taught science fiction and utopian studies, 19th century English and American literature and British and American culture. He has published numerous academic articles and co-edited several academic books.
