New Promo For MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG Fathom PresentationA jaunty new promotional trailer for the upcoming eagerly anticipated nationwide screening of the highly acclaimed West End revival of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth's showbiz musical MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG is now available to view.

The West End revival of MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG was directed by West End leading lady and frequent Sondheim interpreter Maria Friedman, in a production starring Damian Humbley, Mark Umbers and Jenna Russell. The production originally began at the vaunted Menier Chocolate Factory before transferring to the West End for an extended run earlier this year, where it received rave reviews.

MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG traces the friendship of three individuals - Frank, Charley and Mary - from the 1950s through the late 1970s in reverse-time, depicting their dreams coming true, nightmares realized and the tricks time plays on us all. The score features such Sondheim hallmarks as "Not A Day Goes By", "Good Thing Going" and "Old Friends", famously covered by Carly Simon, Frank Sinatra and Liza Minnelli, respectively, among other musical gems. The original short-lived 1981 Broadway production was directed by Harold Prince, the final collaboration between Sondheim and Prince on a new musical until BOUNCE nearly 25 years later. Additionally, the show features a book by COMPANY collaborator George Furth, based on the play of the same name by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart.

MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG will be presented in movie theaters nationwide on October 23. For more information, visit the official Fathom site here.
