Beginning tomorrow, December 5, The Celebrity SkiFest is returning to Deer Valley Resort, as the resort kicks off the winter season with the invitational event on December 5 and 6. For the event, olympic ski legends will be paired with television and film celebrities as they compete in giant slalom races on Birdseye run. The SkiFest is free to spectators, and the public can watch the races take place on Saturday at 1 p.m. and Sunday at 12 p.m.

As of now, the event will include ski legends Steve and Phil Mahre, Tommy Moe, Heidi Voelker, and celebrities Larry David, Cheryl Hines, Neil Patrick Harris, and Rob Morrow.

The program will also include a performance from the band Train.

Equally successful on stage and screen, Neil Patrick Harris continues to demonstrate his creative versatility. He can currently be seen as the womanizing Barney Stinson in the fifth season of the hit CBS comedy series, "How I Met Your Mother," a role which garnered him a 2009 Golden Globe nomination and three consecutive Emmy Award nominations. Named one of the "2008 Entertainers of the Year" by Entertainment Weekly, Harris served as host of the 61st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards and the 63rd Annual Tony Awards. He has appeared on Broadway in Childen of Art, Assassins, Cabaret and Proof.
