The event will be held on Monday, November 17 at 7:00PM in the historic Melville Gallery at South Street Seaport Museum (213 Water Street) and will featured performances by The Lobbyists with encore sets by emerging talents The Humble Grapes, Stephanie Hsu and Jeanna Phillips. All proceeds will benefit the development of SeaWife, aiming to debut in New York City in the 2015-2016 season.

Tickets to the "Songs At The Seaport" benefit concert are $100 and include open bar and hors d'oeuvres. To purchase, visit nakedangels.com/events. A silent auction will feature items such as a one week vacation to Normandy, France; Broadway tickets and backstage passes; original artwork; and handmade leather goods.

SeaWife is a modern theatrical event inspired by the deep well of 19th Century nautical literature. A haunting tale marked with romance, tragedy, sea monsters, and ghosts, the immersive concert play follows Percy, a young sailor bred within the golden age of the American whaling industry, as he embarks on a journey through port cities and sea vessels, discovering man's propensity to love and conquer. Developed within Naked Angels' 3-Step Formula by Liz Carlson, who also directs, SeaWife is co-created by Seth Moore and The Lobbyists and performed by The Lobbyists. Additional details regarding dates and venue will be announced at a later date.

Naked Angels is a theater company committed to strengthening a community of artists through the development and production of provocative new work. As a young group, the artists felt the same way; needing a place where, through the medium of theater, they could show the world a different perspective of the times. Sometimes outraged, often irreverent, occasionally absurd, and always intelligent, enthusiastic and fun, Naked Angels' work was a spark to which audiences were quickly drawn.

The Naked Angels 3-Step Formula: The cornerstone of the company's new play development efforts, the 3-Step Formula is designed to create a natural pipeline for new work. The first step, Tuesdays@9, is a free weekly cold reading series that unites writers, actors, directors, and musicians in a casual and social setting to support excerpts of new plays, screenplays, fiction, poetry, solo work, and songs. Step Two is 1st Mondays, a free monthly reading series for new full-length work, and the final phase, Angels In Progress is a seasonal workshop series that g
