NBC's BLACKLIST Encore Ranks No. 2 Among Networks

At 10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "The Blacklist" (1.1/3 in adults 18-49, 4.2 million viewers overall) ranked #2 in The Hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 versus original drama competition on ABC and CBS, ahead of CBS's "Hostages" (1.0/2). "Blacklist" was also #2 among those nets from 10-11 p.m. in men 18-49, women 18-49 and men 25-54 and tied for #2 in adults 25-54.

The 10 p.m. "Blacklist" rebroadcast grew by 22% versus its lead-in from a 9 p.m. encore in adults 18-49 and was up 8% in total viewers.

At 9 p.m. ET, another rebroadcast of "The Blacklist" delivered a 0.9/2 in 18-49 and 3.9 million viewers overall and at 8 p.m., another encore "Blacklist" averaged a 0.9/2 in 18-49 and 4.5 million viewers overall.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday night:

In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.6/6; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.8/4; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.3/5.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.4/1; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.7/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (0.9/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.7/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

For the Week:

NBC has won the Primetime ratings week of Dec. 30-Jan. 5 among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, total viewers and most other key measures, with Saturday's Saints-Eagles NFL Wild Card Playoff game ranking #1 among Primetime programs on those networks in every key ratings category.

NBC has now finished #1 or tied for #1 10 weeks in a row and during 14 of 15 weeks so far this season, finishing #2 only once during a week in which FOX carried World Series coverage on four of seven nights.

Joining Saturday's Wild Card Playoff Game (#1) among the week's top 25 Primetime programs on ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49 were Sunday's "Best of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Primetime Special" (tied for #12), Tuesday's Primetime segment of "NBC's New Year's Eve with Carson Daly" (tied for #14), Tuesday's NBC News Special "A Toast to 2013!" (tied for #18) and Friday's "Dateline NBC" and "Grimm" (tied for #21). Rankings exclude sports pre- and post-game shows.

Saturday's Saints-Eagles NFL Wild Card Playoff game ranked #1 among Primetime shows on the Big 4 in every key category - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers - as well as kids 2-11 and teens 12-17.

Through 15 weeks of the season, NBC ranks #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49 and is also #1 in every other key demo - adults, men and women 18-34; men and women 18-49; and adults, men and women 25-54.

NBC leads the season by 0.6 of a rating point (with a 3.1 vs. second-place CBS's 2.5), the biggest margin for any network 15 weeks into the season in 11 years (since NBC led by 0.6 of a point in 2002-03). NBC is the only Big 4 network so far this season to be equaling its 18-49 rating of one year ago.

In total viewers, NBC ranks #2 for the season with an average of 9.7 million viewers, which is its biggest overall audience 15 weeks into the season in seven years (since 2006-07, 9.9 million). Versus one year ago, NBC is up 11% season to date in total viewers (9.7 million vs. 8.8 million).
