Musically Human Theatre, under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director David Norwood, announces its 2015 Season - the Tony Award-winning Spring Awakening, Passing Strange and a musical revue Our Time, to be presented at the Chain Theatre, 21-28 45 RD Long Island City, NY.

"Each season we look for pieces that will catalyze engagement with our community," stated David Norwood. "It is particularly exciting to be able to produce work that represents a wide range of styles and form. The power of this season is the range of work that takes us from Frank Wedekind's 18th century expressionist play, interpreted with contemporary music, to a brilliant rock musical that follows a young black musician on his quest for authenticity." Norwood continued, "I am thrilled to have Musically Human present this diverse spectrum of projects that so powerfully reflect our core mission of expanding the boundaries of musical theatre."

Norwood says about the Chain Theatre, "It is incredibly exciting for us to be in a facility where the performance space is completely flexible. The openness of the Chain allows our designers and I to continue to reinvestigate the audience/actor relationship, and the audience's experience of a production. The Chain is a wonderfully creative place to work while in a beautiful and convenient location, right off of Court Square in the heart of Long Island City. We look forward to becoming a part of the Long Island City community and the surrounding neighborhood."
