Motown's N'Kenge, Hamilton's Mandy Gonzalez and More Join Naples Philharmonic in BROADWAY DIVAS

Known for her powerful and riveting vocals, Broadway's Darling N'Kenge (Motown: The Musical and Sondheim and Sondheim) will grace the stage in a Broadway Diva's collaboration with Naples Philharmonic, under the direction of conductor, Jack Everly for six concerts. Performances at the Francis Pew Hayes Hall in Artis-Naples will be Tuesday January 10-13th at 8:00PM and January 14th at 2:00PM and 8:00PM located at 5833 Pelican Bay Boulevard Naples, FL 34108.

Not to be missed, N'Kenge is known to have audiences rising to their feet once their ears have witnessed this Diva's vocal ability. She will be joined on stage by fellow Leading Ladies from the Broadway Stage: MAndy Gonzalez, Christina Bianco and Kristen Plumley. These ladies will be belting out songs from shows that are the best of Broadway - Les Miserable; Porgy and Bess; Annie; Chicago; My Fair Lady and much more. You won't be able to sit down when N'Kenge sings hits such as "Summertime","Mein Herr" and the showstopping number from Dreamgirls "And I Am Telling You".

The NY Post called N'Kenge "Electrifying" in the role of Mary Wells that she originated in Broadway's Smash Hit Motown: The Musical. N'Kenge made her Broadway debut in Sondheim on Sondheim alongside Barbara Cook, Vanessa Williams, Norm Lewis and Tom Wopat which was directed by Pulitzer Prize winner James Lapine. In London, N'Kenge made her West End debut starring in The Genius of Ray Charles. She was hailed by NY Times as "a classically trained diva that can stretch from Broadway, Pop Soul to Opera". N'Kenge was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress by Helen Hayes Awards in DC for her performance in 3 Mo'Divas and Nominated by Arizoni Awards for Best Actress in the lead role of Elton John's Aida. N'Kenge performed at the Library of Congress which was broadcast worldwide on NPR and had the honor of performing for President Obama at the Commander-in-Chief's Inaugural Ball. N'Kenge has also been seen as a soloist at Carnegie Hall with The New York Pops Orchestra, Baltimore Symphony, Cincinnati Symphony, Cleveland Orchestra to name a few.

Jack Everly is the principal pops conductor for Naples Phiharmonic, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra,Baltimore Symphony and the National Arts Centre Orchestra (Ottawa). He has conducted the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl, the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall and appears regularly with the Cleveland Orchestra at Blossom Music Center. Naples Philharmonic is known for performing a wide range of musical repertoire from great classical works to pops to family classics. After a successful run of sold out concerts with the several symphonies last season in BROAWAY DIVAS, N'Kenge is excited to return to Naples!
