MotorCity Casino Hotel to Host Urban Wheel Awards Meet & Greet Dance Party, 1/7

MotorCity Casino Hotel is proud to host the 16th Annual Urban Wheel Awards Meet & Greet Dance Party, on Saturday January 7, 2012, from 8:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m.

There will be an evening with honorees, celebrities, sponsors and media at the Urban Wheel Awards Meet & Greet Dance Party, featuring dance lessons by Ballroom Champion H. Demetrius Jones. The event will also feature Detroit Ballroom Dancing, Latin Dancing, Chicago Stepping, DC HandDancing, and entertainment by DJ Chuck Boone. The Red Carpet Meet & Greet will begin at 9:00 p.m.
There will also be special performances by US Open Swing Dance finalists Lewis Neal and Leslie Mallory. They are ranked in the top five in the nation, and the Masters Swing Dance Tour where they were third in the nation. They also performed in the Swing Baby Swing stage documentary of the life of Norma Miller in New York. Other performers include nationally ranked Master competitors and winners of numerous dance competitions.
