Barefoot in the Park tells the hilarious story of newlyweds Paul and Corie Bratter as they discover that settling in together will take far more work than just braving the five flights of stairs to their walk-up. With the help of an eccentric neighbor, an astute repairman, and Corie's long-suffering mother, Paul and Corie are about to find out what they'll do for love, from sleeping in the snow to walking barefoot in the park.

Produced by Sharman Altshuler and directed by IRNE and Elliot Norton-nominated Allison Olivia Choat, the cast of Moonbox Productions' presentation of Barefoot in the Park features Marisa Gold (Corie Bratter), Tom Shoemaker (Paul Bratter), Sheriden Thomas* (Corie's Mother), Phil Thompson** (Victor Velasco), Andrew Winson (Telephone Man), and James Bocock (The Delivery Man). *Member of Actors' Equity Association, **Member of Screen Actors' Guild.

As with each show, Moonbox Productions partners with a local non-profit giving them visibility on their website and in their promotional materials, as well as giving them access to their audiences in order to raise awareness of their cause, create connections within the community, and increase the reach and impact of their work. For the production of Barefoot in the Park, Moonbox will be partnering with Summer Search. The mission of Summer Search is to help low-income teenagers transform what they believe is possible for themselves and develop the skills they need to become college-educated leaders who give back to their families and communities.

"We are all so thrilled to be bringing Barefoot in the Park to the Plaza," said Sharman Altshuler, Producer and Artistic Director for Moonbox Productions. "It's a long time favorite of mine, and I can't imagine a better cast than the one we have assembled," said Altshuler. "We also have a dream team on the crew side with a slate of Moonbox veterans designing and directing the show, and some wonderful new talent on the production staff," said Altshuler. "I am also looking forward to partnering with Summer Search. It's an organization that's making a deep impact on Boston area teens, and we can't wait to help them get the word out," said Altshuler.
