On Monday, August 5th, Missed Connections: An Exploration into the Online Postings of Desperate Romantics will begin an open ended run on the second floor of Vlada Lounge at 9:30pm. Doors open at 9pm. Missed Connections will be performed every first and third Mondays each month.

Using real postings from the infamous craigslist section, the group will dive headfirst into dozens of unique characters. With a variety of locations, intentions and grammar, Missed Connections is a show of endless hilarity. Previous performances were staged at The Laurie Beechman Theater, The Kraine Theater, The Producers Club, The Magnet Theater and The Brooklyn Lyceum (for the New York Times recognized UglyRhino).

The show is performed by a rotating cast featuring Jennifer Jean Anderson, Ricky Dunlop, Jake Mckenna, Lauren Roth and George Salazar. Admission is FREE.

Show information is available at www.MissedConnectionsShow.com.

Vlada Lounge is located at 331 W. 51st Street (between 8th and 9th Avenues). The closest subway stops are the C/E and 1 at 50th Street or the N/Q/R at 49th Street. More information about the venue can be found at www.VladaBar.com.
