The Mighty Third Rail are among the line up of performers at Dixon Place "Little Theatre," one of the oldest performance spaces in New York City, a place known for new works and works-in progress, Monday, October 21st at 7:30PM, 161A Chrystie St., New York, NY. The Mighty Third Rail, winners of the Musical Theater Matters Awards for Best Music at the 2012 Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, continues the development of their "Tribute" Set by implementing multimedia to songs by African American Musical Legends, such as Duke Ellington, John Coltrane, Billie Holiday and Gil Scott-Heron with a re-imagined contemporary urban flare. This talented trio combines Hip Hop Poetry, Beat-Boxing, Violin and Upright Bass to create their unique and dynamic sound.
