Michael Shannon In New Terry Richardson Photo Shoot

Michael Shannon In New Terry Richardson Photo ShootFrequent stage star and notable film and TV presence Michael Shannon is spotlighted by famed celebrity photographer Terry Richardson in a weird and wonderful new photo shoot.

Red leather, black leather, smiling, frowning, donning Richardson's trademark glasses, eating a hamburger and even playing with his food, Shannon's oft-stoic side is given short shrift and his more wacky, winsome sensibilities offered a rare full airing in these new shots - and isn't it something?!

The Boardwalk Empire lead and BUG stage and screen breakout star previously revealed his more comedic side in a hilarious Funny Or Die clip released earlier this week in which he reads a sorority application in his unmistakable way.

BOARDWALK EMPIRE returns on HBO later this year and you will soon be able to see Shannon on the big screen in the new Superman franchise reboot MAN OF STEEL, as well as in ICEMAN. As for the stage? We will have to wait and see what project he chooses to do next - after all, GRACE was just last year!
