International stage and screen superstar Michael Crawford shares his reaction to this week's news of his second royal appointment by Queen Elizabeth II, that of CBE in recognition of his ongoing children's charity work, in a new video statement.

Crawford comments, "It's the second time - I acted the first time."

"Obviously, I'm better at my charity work than I was at acting!" Crawford shares as he boisterously laughs, citing the higher ranking of the CBE title than that of OBE.

Additionally, Crawford says, "To be able to draw money in and raise money is a gift and that wouldn't have come without my success that I'd had in that other world."

"So, this has been a great reward," Crawford concludes.

Of note, Crawford previously received an OBE in 1986 following the London opening of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.
