Melissa Perry Moraja, CEO of Melissa Productions, announces her fourth Wunderkind Family modern-fantasy children's chapter book, Madison and GA (My Guardian Angel): Tale of the Messed Up Talent Show, is available for sale on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and countless local and online bookstores. This comically illustrated and entertainingly written children's chapter book arrives just in time for the holiday season. A percentage of all Wunderkind Family children's book proceeds will go to helping find a cure for type 1 diabetes.

"The Wunderkind Family children's book series is about family, friendships, and growing up. The Wunderkind siblings are just discovering how extraordinarily gifted they are. But not without a lot of hilarious and humble moments," shares Melissa. "Madison is the only Wunderkind that can see and hear her guardian angel. The special part of this story is that her guardian angel isn't perfect and is learning and growing-up just like Madison, creating lots of funny kid messed up moments."

In the riveting Madison and GA (My Guardian Angel): Tale of the Messed Up Talent Show, the beloved Madison Wunderkind, a sweet and honest girl, finds herself in trouble with the principal again. But this time she's not alone. And she's counting on her klutzy, curious guardian angel, GA, to help her. The story begins three days prior to the highly anticipated talent show at Gator Elementary. Sophia, the most popular fifth-grade girl at the school, asks Madison to hang out and plan this year's extraordinary show. Instantly, Madison becomes Little Miss Popular and sadly soon discovers that being Little Miss Popular isn't all it was cracked up to be. After being deemed Little Miss Popular, Madison's best friends begin to ignore her, her brothers are angry at her, and her guardian angel is irritated by her snobbish attitude. "A percentage of my children's book proceeds will go towards finding a cure for type 1 diabetes. Parents need to understand that this disease can happen to any child. I'm still in shock that my daughter has it. And I'm even in more shock when people say, 'If she just stopped eating sweets, she'd be healthy.' My daughter is thin and active, and sweets had nothing to do with her getting this disease. It happened randomly. This disease is so different than type 2 diabetes," said Melissa.

Melissa is a huge advocate and supporter for type 1 diabetes. Her daughter was diagnosed with this life-altering disease on November 4, 2011. It is believed that a virus triggered this disease. Children living with this disease have to prick their fingers 8 - 12 times a day and are 100% insulin dependent until there is a cure. Managing a type 1 diabetic child's blood sugar isn't easy. Everything affects it-the weather, what they eat, worrying about taking an exam, excitement during a sports tournament, and even dreaming during sleep.

The Wunderkind Family series is a collection of humorous, modern-fantasy children's stories, each told by one of the four whimsical Wunderkind sibling characters, about what it's like growing up as a kid with extraordinary abilities in an unusual, yet charming family in the small town of Boring Brook. (Target age: 6 - 12 years old).
