Move over, Bob Saget.

According to Deadline, Meg Ryan has been tapped to voice the older version of Greta Gerwig's Sally in CBS' How I Met Your Mother spin-off, HOW I MET YOUR DAD. Saget provided the 'aged' voice of Josh Radnor in the original series, which just wrapped its nine-season run on the network.

How I Met Your Dad will tell the story from a female point of view, that of Sally (Gerwig), and revolves around a new group of friends in New York. The show's three male leads are played by Drew Tarver, Nick D'Agosto and Andrew Santino. The pilot, from 20th TV, was written by Emily Spiveyand HIMYM creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas. Rob Greenberg is directing.

With continuous buzz surrounding the project, Deadline suggests that a series pick-up is likely.

The three-time Golden Globe nominee is best known fo rher romantic comedies Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail and When Harry Met Sally.
