In addition, hot musical theatre team Kait Kerrigan (words) and Brian Lowdermilk (music) will present a special sneak peek at their newest show The Bad Years. The benefit evening will help phaware global association raise awareness for Pulmonary Hypertension (PH), a disease that currently has no cure but can be managed with proper care and treatment. The benefit evening includes a Red Carpet, dinner and the show.

Broadway's Zach Rand (Les Miserables & Mary Poppins) and TV & Radio Host Jeffrey Hayzlett will co-host the benefit. breathless on Broadway is sponsored by Actelion Pharamaceuticals, US; Bayer HealthCare; US, Modelogic [Mid Atlantic], and C-Suite Network.

The evening will also include a performance by Switch, a 5-member acappella group which brought down the house at last year's breathless on Broadway.

"Broadway (and Sardi's) are normally dark on Mondays, but not on June 6th. That Monday night we will be raising awareness for an incurable disease, to honor those who live with Pulmonary Hypertension and remember those who have died from the disease," said Hayzlett.

Zach Rand said: "My family and I are honored to be hosting this event to raise awareness for a very personal cause. And while my late sister Chloë isn't here to witness this, we continue our fight for the many other families affected by Pulmonary Hypertension. I am excited to co-host with Jeff and thrilled to welcome my talented Broadway colleagues to Sardi's."

Marie Rand co-founded phaware global association with John Hess, Steve Van Wormer and Harry Rozakis. Marie Rand said: "The idea for breathless on Broadway began in the car driving home one night when Zach was appearing in "Les Miz" on Broadway. He asked if his voice would ever be big enough to help other people. He was nine years old. Just before his eighteenth birthday, the first breathless on Broadway happened."

breathless on Broadway will include a Red Carpet beginning at 5:30 PM, followed by dinner, a silent auction and entertainment at 7PM. Tickets are $150.

The event is open to the public, but seating is limited. For additional information, visit: www.breathlessonbroadway.com
