Matthew Stocke returns to the cast of the five-time Tony nominated hit musical Rock of Ages tonight, February 7, 2013, at the Helen Hayes Theatre (240 West 44th Street) for four weeks. Stocke is stepping in for Paul Schoeffler as "Hertz," the German developer looking to renovate the Sunset Strip, while Schoeffler is on leave to play Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha at Houston's Theatre Under The Stars from February 26-March 10. Schoeffler returns to Rock of Ages on March 11, 2013.

Stocke, whose past Broadway credits include The Wedding Singer, The Boy From Oz, The Full Monty and Titanic, previously performed as a swing in Rock of Ages from 2009 to 2011.

In its record-breaking fourth year on Broadway, Rock of Ages has celebrated its one-millionth customer, its 1500th performance and seven Box Office Records. This coming March, the smash hit will take its place on the Top 50 list of Longest Running Broadway Shows in History. "Broadway's Best Party" opened on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 and played its final performance at The Brooks Atkinson Theatre on Sunday, January 9, 2011 before re-opening at The Helen Hayes Theatre on March 24, 2011.

The music that ignited a generation is heating up Broadway in Rock of Ages. The classic rock love story of the decade erupts into Broadway's Best Party, all to the sounds of such feel-good, sing-out-loud songs as "Every Rose Has Its Thorn", "I Wanna Know What Love Is", "Here I Go Again", "Don't Stop Believin" and more.

ROCK OF AGES currently stars a "Supergroup" of performers including Kate Rockwell as "Sherrie," Justin Matthew Sargent as "Drew," Joey Calveri as "Stacee Jaxx," Genson Blimline as "Lonny," Adam Dannheisser (Original Broadway Cast member) as "Dennis," Cody Scott Lancaster as "Franz," Josephine Rose Roberts as "Regina," Paul Schoeffler (Original Broadway Cast member) as "Hertz," and Teresa Stanley as "Justice." Rounding out the cast are Tessa Alves, Andrew Call, Tony LePage, Michael Minarik (Original Broadway Cast member), Jennifer Rias, Cassie Silva, Andre Ward (Original Broadway Cast member) and Neka Zang.

In addition to being a bona fide Broadway hit musical, Rock of Ages is currently rocking the Garrick Theatre in London's West End and the Venetian Resort on the Las Vegas Strip; is on its Second U.S. National Tour; and hit the silver screen in June 2012 as a major motion picture starring Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin, Russell Brand and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Furthermore, the show was a runaway success in Toronto, Australia, and its 60-city First National Tour, and has licensed productions in several additional countries, including Korea and Japan.

ROCK OF AGES is produced on Broadway and world-wide by Matthew Weaver, Michael Cohl and Jonathan Linden/S2BN Entertainment.
