MSG Entertainment announced today that Marco Antonio Solís and Camila will take the Madison Square Garden stage tonight, August 1, 2015 at 8:00PM. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 10:00AM.
Achieving success as a solo artist was Marco Antonio Solís' new challenge and he overachieved. With prophetic instinct, he titled this his first production in this stage of this career "En Pleno Vuelo". The new album sold over half a million copies in less than a week. Since then the wings of his inspiration, his charisma and presence when he's playing several instruments, the fine craftsmanship of his work in the studio, and the perfect mix of his repertoire and his voice, have propelled him to the living legend category.
Founded by the award-winning composer, singer and producer Mario Domm (Coahuila, Mexico), Camila made its official debut in 2005 when Domm signed his first record contract with Sony Music, together with his friends and colleagues guitarist Pablo Hurtado (San Luis Potosi) and Veracruz native Samo. Camila mde "Todo Cambió" (2006) and "Déjate de Amar" (2010), two meteoric hits that turned the group into one of the most successful in Latin America.
In 2014, Camila launches a third studio album "Elypse", transforming itself from trio to duo. Today it is Mario Domm and Pablo Hurtado who make up this group that is so loved by its loyal publlc. "Decidiste Dejarme", their new single, is catching on at radio and video channels, indicating a new chapter of success for Camila.
