Malaria No More, a global nonprofit organization dedicated to ending malaria deaths, will host its annual benefit gala on Thursday, November 13, honoring Al Jazeera America with the Media Leader Award for their consistent coverage of malaria as a top global health challenge.

Malaria No More will honor Al Jazeera America with the Media Leader Award for their consistent coverage of malaria as a top global health challenge. Malaria No More will also honor Alere with the Corporate Citizenship Award, for their ongoing support of the organizations campaigns, to help treat cases of malaria in children. There will also be a special performance by the cast members and band from the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Fela! Additional special performances will be announced.

Guests expected to attend include Ehab Al Shihabi, CEO, Al Jazeera America; Martin Edlund, CEO, Malaria No More; Namal Nawana, CEO, Alere and more.

The event will take place at Skylight Modern, 537 West 27th Street, New York, NY 10001 and Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 7:00 PM.
